121. Song on the Bus (cont’d)

On the 10th day of Christmas my true love sent to me…

10 child soldiers

9 live harvested organs
8 hate crimes
7 stolen childhoods
6 paedophiles
5 child porn rings!
4 murdered whores
3 blinded boys
2 girls with acid burns
And a female genital mutilee.

On the 11th day of Christmas my true love sent to me

11 kidnapped schoolgirls… by Boko Haram in Nigeria…

10 child soldiers

9 live organs
8 hate crimes
7 stolen childhoods
6 paedophiles
5 child porn rings!
4 murdered whores
3 blinded boys
2 girls with acid burns
And a female genital mutilee.

On the 12th day of Christmas my true love sent to me…

I notice that the CCTV camera on the bus has 8 points of view.

I look back and count 5 cameras.

So downstairs must have 3.

I move downstairs and move into frame of the first camera, which is the two seats behind the luggage rack front left.

I stand there and wait for the camera to catch me and display me on the TV.

On the 12th day of Christmas my true love sent to me…

12 tear gassed babies…

BINGO.

I’m on TV.

I check behind. Count the cameras.

3.

I’m right.

11 kidnapped schoolgirls

10 child soldiers

9 live organs
8 hate crimes
7 stolen childhoods
6 paedophiles
5 child porn rings!
4 murdered whores
3 blinded boys
2 girls with acid burns
And a female genital mutilee.

I can’t sit in camera 2 position as its occupied by a sleeping homeless person.

I stay on camera 1 and check the CCTV for camera 3.

On the 13th day of Christmas…

Back seat left.

Occupied as well.

I move back upstairs.

The tannoy voice, as annoying as Ms. Cockfosters on the Piccadilly line, says something about a museum of musical theatre.

I’m upstairs again now.

Front left.

Camera 4.

I sing as I wait to see myself on TV.

13 blood diamonds

12 tear gassed babies

11 kidnapped schoolgirls

10 child soldiers

9 live organs

8 hate crimes

7 stolen childhoods

6 paedophiles

5 child porn rings!

4 murdered whores

3 blind boys

2 acid burns

And a female genital mutilee!
