28. Settling In

I can’t see any children trapped in sexual slavery anywhere.
All I can see is a vibrant city filled with people going about their business.
A happy people.
A friendly people.
A welcoming people.
I’m shocked it’s not like I read in the books, but I’m pleased.
I relax.
I enjoy my job teaching at the Australian Centre for Education (ACE).
Cambodian students are amazing: motivated, friendly and fun.
A joy to teach.
I decide to kick back, forget about trying to rescue kids from sexual slavery (cos I can’t see any anywhere) and enjoy my life as an English teacher.
I search online for churches in the area and find two: International Christian Fellowship and New Life.
On Sunday I will go to New Life
