54. The Enemy & Mr. C

Two nights no sleep.

As I lie on the bed next to Razor my life rolls over and spins around and flashes and skids in my mind.

Razor, she’s putting the pipe together.

Building the home made contraption from the straws and the water bottle.

Who would have thought crystal meth amphetamine was so prevalent in underworld Cambodia?

I wasn’t expecting it.

It hadn’t even crossed my mind.

If I’d have done my research…

Razor flicks the customized lighter into flame. Burns a hole in the bottle top. Then another.

If I’d have done my research…

At least I would have armed myself with knowledge of the enemy.

Knowledge of the enemy territory.

You don’t hear about the meth epidemic with the anti sex trafficking fundraiser videos they play at Sunday services.

Here am I. High on meth.

Not a class A drug in 25 years.

And now here I am, high on meth with the girls I came to reach out to.

In Satan’s world.

Yet greater is He who is in me.

And still, the reward God has given me for leaving my dreams of Hollywood stardom behind to try and make a difference in a poverty stricken 3rd world country was …

I am the new James Bond.

Not only that.

James Bond directed by my hero Francis Ford Coppola.

The King.

The Godfather.

Mr. C himself.

Mr. Crystal Meth Psychosis…
